What I love about my job

It is so rewarding to have the opportunity to change the relationships between people and their dogs. Life is a lot more fulfilling when you understand each other and in the most serious situations, it can help save a dog’s life.

Why I became a dog trainer

I owe becoming a Bark Busters trainer to my past German Shepherd, May. We got her as a rescue and she had some serious behavioural issues. Having a behavioural background, I had trained all my other dogs myself…except nothing worked with her. A neighbour suggested I call Bark Busters and truthfully, I was fairly skeptical. My first 3 hours with my then trainer Cindy, left me so hopeful. As she walked out my door, she said “I think you may be really good at this!” and 18 years later, here I am.
