Lisa Burke
Behaviour Therapist & Trainer
I joined Bark Busters after almost three decades in the live theatre industry. Simply put, I love dogs, and I’ve always loved working with them. I want to spend the rest of my career helping families and their dogs live better, together. My focus is on identifying the needs of the dog and their humans, and finding ways to balance everyone’s lives.
What I love about my job
Removing the barriers that negative behaviour can cause in the relationship between dogs and their families. Knowing that I can have a strong impact on the lives of people and pets makes me feel fulfilled.
Why I became a dog trainer
To improve the lives of dogs and the people who love them, and ultimately ensure that the relationship between my clients and their pets is a positive one, full of love and trust. I enjoy working with people and their animals, and love knowing that I can help dogs fit in and stay where they belong, in stable loving homes with the people who care for them
