My background in psychology and teaching helps me connect with clients and educate them on canine behaviour, enabling them to better understand and communicate with their dog. I find it extremely rewarding to help owners better understand their canine companions and build trusting relationships. Whether it's setting up a new puppy for success, or helping a family with their adult dog's behaviours, I love bridging that gap between human and dog and reducing everyone's stress in the process!
Why I became a trainer
Growing up on a farm, I've always been a huge animal lover and fascinate by their behaviour. In my previous career as an ICU nurse and clinical instructor I discovered my love for teaching and supporting others. When I experienced my first lesson with Bark Busters I was blown away by the simplicity yet effectiveness of the communication methods used to train. I was thrilled to find out that I could have a career in helping both people and their beloved pets!
