Hi Tim, Thanks for checking back with me. Everything is going well so far – there has definitely been an improvement with the “mad dash to the door”. My friends have noticed it, too – much quieter when they arrive! They still need a bit of work but we are definitely making progress. Thanks again for your help. I have recommended you to a couple of clients and will continue to do so - Dr. Chris M. DVM - January 2009

Good morning Tim! - Thanks again for coming out to see us on Saturday, the change in Patrick's behaviour is incredible. I feel compelled to tell you that on our evening walk saturday, we walked by a squirrel in a tree at Patrick's eye level and with a just few warnings he kept his pace and walked right on by without incident! That's just amazing. - Thanks again! - Jenette R. - June 2010

I was out on the patio last night and opened the patio door and Luther just stood there and I wondered what was wrong with him when my friend said that he was waiting for me to enter first. I was amazed since he is 12 years old and he remembered his recent training even though I had forgotten. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Reicha is using the ramp very well. I used it when I took her to the vet yesterday and it was so easy...Sandra B. - May 2010

I was totally amazed at how my dog changed so much within the first week. Its all about training ourselves not the do. We have to learn to be the pack leaders. My dog had so much fear in her I always felt sorry her, but she was only confused about who should be the leader. It was so simple. I would highly recommend Bark Busters to my friends. Just want to say thanks to Tim he is great!!!! - Brenda and Ken C. - May 2010

This training was magic. Boston responded immediately to the passive dominant strategy. He continues to test and I am a little concerned that the teachings will stick...but that makes me more determined to remain consistent with the bark busters philosophy and regimen.

Bark Busters is excellent! We would highly recommend our trainer Tim and the program to anyone who is looking to improve the comfort level of their beloved canine companion. The overall core values of the program were right on target with what our dog Rocky needed...which was to feel safe, have leadership and become more of a dog instead of the protector and provider. Since beginning to work with Bark Buster's one month ago, Rocky has developed a comfort level with our cat Buddy, enjoyed many afternoons running free at the dog park (something we never thought he would be able to do) and seems to be able to relax and enjoy long naps on our bed. Rocky was kept in a crate for most of his young life until we adopted him and brought him into our home. Bark Buster's has helped us give him the wonderful life that he deserves. Thank you Tim and Bark Busters. We are very grateful. Jennifer, Wenddell and Rocky. - Jennifer R. - February 2010

I could not believe how fast this worked. Kloe is a much better dog now .I so enjoy my walks with no more tugging and stopping to sniff every second. We are still working on the doorbell and she is still testing me but in the 4 weeks it has been such an improvment. Thanks to Tim and the Barkbusters program - Pat F. - February 2010

We noticed a difference in our dogs immediately. They are improving everyday with your system. We still have a ways to go, but we are very confident that this is the answer to all our problems with T-co and Tiki - Lynn M. - February 2010

We left Dexter and the cats by themselves for approximately 7hrs on Saturday nights. I was so pleased to come home and find that Dexter did extremely well! My quick survey of the house revealed that the cat food dishes were still full, nothing had been chewed that was not Dexter's, and Dexter was calm and content! Thank you Tim! - Nicole I - January 2010

Hi Tim - I can't thank you enough. It is so great to be able to leave the house and not have her trying to squeeze between the door and cry and bark. I can walk out and she is staying in her zone and watching - what a relief. She is not sitting on the stairs anymore and I can actually go around the house now without her following me. We are still working on everything but what has been accomplished in such a short time is amazing. I was enjoying her before but am enjoying her even more now. Thanks again Tim. - Pat F. - January 2010

Tim was a fantastic help and explained everything very clearly. We have been working diligently with both dogs and have noticed a great difference in their happiness, as well as our own...our lives are much happier and more stress free than ever before...Overall, I am very pleased with the program and would definitely recommend it to anyone having issues with their dogs.
- Abbie G. - January 2010

My husband and I are very happy with the experience we have had and will continue to have with Tim. Abbie is only 2 1/2 months so I'm sure as she continues to grow we will have more great experience learning and teaching Abbie. We enjoy the email tips and the fact that Tim is just a phone call away. We are finding doing our homework and following the suggestions is really helping with Abbie's training. - Tara & Brad P. - January 2010

Diesel has improved 100% since his training with Bark Busters. He still barks a little at people passing in front of our house but only a bark or two then stops. Before he would bark and bark and it seemed he was never going to stop as long as there were people outside. I don`t mind him doing a bark or two because it is a warning to my wife who is alone sometimes and I`m sure he does it for protection. He doesn`t go after people like he did before and when my grandchildren come over he doesn`t try to bite at the feet. He goes up to them and gets a pat from them. When out for walks he just watches people passing him and he doesn`t try to chase people on bikes anymore either. He is a much improved little dog. Thank you Bark Busters - Ed G. - December 2009

Hi Tim! - I just wanted to tell you how happy I am that I called you to come and help Luna and I. The last few weeks have been some of the best weeks I've had with her in a long time. Once again, I have gained control back and we have a great relationship. The running across the yard, jumping up and biting me and digging in the couch has stopped. No more sitting in the backyard crying! Even walking with her is better however not perfect - she still gets distracted at times but at least I can now control her. Thank you for helping to give me back the puppy I love! - Sandy K. - December 2009

It was great, it is hard to always pay attention to Bun's behavior with two small children so i don't always get the "preventative" BAH but I definatley see better behavior from her.

My daughters and I had the most instructive and fun three hours, during the Barkbuster session with Tim. It did change our lives. What we learned from Tim allowed us to be in charge, to feel in control and start to enjoy Jassy's personality more. Jassy, our Golden Retriver, is now more submissive, she does not jump on people or bark as much. On the walk with me she is a different dog, never pulls, never walks in front of me and can pass by rabbits, squirrels and even a skunk, once, without a fuss. She is thrilled to be inside with us most of the time. She has learned the boundaries quickly and very seldomlly tries to push them.

My younger daughter Sara is still playing " puppies" with Jassy rolling around and pushing each other and she is enjoying it more as she realized she does not have to be the "trainer" anymore. And Jassy accepted her fully as a playmate being more careful not to hurt Sara.

Amna is still the "leader". She practiced with Jassy a lot and she is very proud of Jassy's accomplishments. We are all very proud of her. We are all thankful to Tim for a very professional, warm and caring way to conduct the session. Thank you. Regards, - Gratiana A. - October 2009

Bark Busters was an amazing experience, as I couldn't believe the immediate difference it made in my dog. The focus of our session was in developing a hierarcy in our "pack" and learning how to be the leader. Frank (the pug) has made incredible progress when he's in our home without any distractions. I still have concerns when we are outside the home going for walks. Frank gets distracted easily and is constantly pulling on his lead. I contacted Bark Busters for suggestions on how to correct this. Without any hassle or hesitation Tim asked what time would work for him to return to my home and correct these concerns. I'm so impressed that Bark Busters sticks to their word for the lifetime guarantee and support with my dog through this process. Thank you for all you have done for me and my "pack"!! - Amy R. - October 2009

I absolutely hated the dog from the minute my wife brought it home almost 2 years ago and really did not want much to do with it. There has been incredible stress in the family related to his bad behaviour and our inability to train him on our own. As we mentioned to you on Saturday you were our last hope before we put him down. We were going to give him away at one point but with his behaviour we were afraid some one would get hurt.

We can't thank you enough for what you have done for us in just a few short hours. Not only did we see a new dog transform out of Hudson which I now absolutely love but after you left we felt like an incredible stress had been lifted off our familys shoulders. - Chris K. - October 2009

Bark Busters has been a great experience. You have given me tools that I can work with and helped me to realize that it's more me than my dog that needs the training - learning how to think on his level rather than mine, which makes so much sense. I know it is going to take time but already our walks have improved. It's reassuring that this is an on-going system and that Bark Busters can be contacted any time. Tim has been amazing to work with. - Jennifer S. - September 2009

Hi Tim, I am absolutely delighted with the results of our afternoon! I always knew that Maggie was a smart and loving dog, and with your guidance she is doing great! I realize that it is now up to me and being consistent. This morning as we were leaving for our walk, (no barking or sock stealing involved), I forgot to go first, and she sat and waited for her invitation out the door. Thank you, thank you!! I will be promoting you and Bark Busters to everyone. - Maureen H. - August 2009

Really pleased with the system and with my trainer. I have recommended and really like that when I am struggling I can call or email and we can meet again. Thank you, I went from wanting to get rid of the dog to being so thankful for such a great dog. The dog was always great it was me who needed to be trained. Thank you. - Tracey H. - August 2009

The method that is used is very simple, but does work well.
- Marvin & Catherine S. - August 2009

Hi Tim! Things are great with Bailey so far, we cannot thank you enough!!! Our friends and family are amazed, the changes are tremendous. We still cannot believe we learned something so effective in a three hour session, we should have called you sooner!

Thank you again for everything, we are having so much fun working with Bailey, and it is a tremendous relief to know we actually can control and improve his behaviour. Thanks again for everything... - Jessica and Devindra - July 2009

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I was so impressed with the instant improvement in my dogs behaviour. Any problems I have are because I have great difficulty focusing and retaining information and are not the fault of the trainer who I felt was very patient with me, and who I know will guide me in dealing with both dogs in the future. I have every confidence - Ann S. - July 2009

Hi Tim:

Thank you for the follow-up email. Things are going extremely well. No doubt we have probably been amiss on a few things so far but what a difference! Things with Hannah are phenomenal! She needs little correction since your visit. The very sight of the pillow puts her into submission

She no longer barks constantly either in the backyard at the neighbours or distractions in the strip mall behind the fence. Jeff had both dogs in the yard last Saturday while I was at work and he was talking to both sets of neighbours and apparently everyone noticed the change. They asked what we had done to our dogs because there was no barking or going crazy (especially Hannah). Today, because it was so nice out, I opened the front and side doors and opened the screens on both of them. There was absolutely no reaction to kids, other dogs, buses or anything else that was happening on the street.

Overall, she is so improved. It seems that everything is part of the pattern. She stays at the door until she is invited in (or out). I didn't even have to show her that one. She doesn't bother Jeff coming in or out of the house and if she forgets, she is corrected. Honestly, for the most part, I only have to show her the pillow and she corrects herself. We will stay diligent in our (and her) efforts to keep her on track. I must say Frankie has been really good too although most of the attention has been placed on Hannah.

We will certainly be in touch and I appreciate all your help and the knowledge that you will be in touch. Thank you so much. - Sue B - March 2009

Hi Tim. Thanks for the info. You have a spectacularly successful program. Tom, Sam and I are all happy I found your company website. I am going to tell my son and daughter in law all about it tomorrow. Sam has been behaving in an exemplary manner since you left. We did get the crate for him. But he has stayed in the same area with little complaint for several hours after you left with 2 minor whimpers that settled immediately when I did what you taught us. We put him back in for an hour this evening with no whimpering and NO gate. Hard to believe. Tom needed a bit of effort ( three pitches) but did not give up in his effort to get Sam to follow him outside. Success again !. The night was quiet for the first time. No accidents!! Hurray and good sleep. Thanks again. - Mardi W. - March 2009

In July 2008 Bella, a gorgeous Goldendoddle and rescue dog, joined our family. We were told two things: high maintenance (grooming etc) and separation anxiety. Having dogs in our home for over thirty years, we thought no sweat -- WELL:.

Bark Busters to the rescue in September

Two visits and several e-mails later, Tim Girouard advised us to give Bella a week of tough love in order for her to overcome her severe anxiety.

Seven days later Bella knew that her bed was a safe place and did not leave the safe place when she thought she was alone. Days eight and nine, Bella stayed alone for 30 mins and day 10 for 60 mins.

Our dog is now a dog that accepts its place in the family (pack) and with continuous reinforcement of Bark Busters Work Plan for pack leaders, we are confident that we will have one incredible dog.

Thanks Tim for always listening and for always being so professional. We will recommend Bark Busters and will reinforce Bark Busters pledge of lifetime assistance.

Hello Tim - I just wanted to let you know that so far, this training has been awesome! The doggies are still in training in the backyard where it's fenced in, however, tonight I brought them both out into the front (leash-less) and they did exactly as they were asked. I was very pleased!!! Anyway, I'll fill out the questionnaire shortly - I just wanted to give you a little follow-up. - Barb M. - February 2009

Thank you Tim, you were fantastic. Miloh and Chloe (especially) have had a complete doggie-makeover, she is much more relaxed and very quick to show submission even when we are just walking by her. We are still working on the door bell and we are making progress, the last time she barked and then lied down on the couch while Lisa was still at the door. This was a big event and definitely a cause for a lot of celebration and a lot of "good girl-s".

Thank you Mr. Bark-Buster, we are already reaping the benefits of a more peaceful home.

Kind regards - Sandy - Feb 2009

Good Monday morning Tim

Update for ya - Duke had his neutering surgery last Thurs & is recovering nicely. Gotta keep an eye on that "licking" but all is good. He is now 8 mo old.

Also I had him outside shovelling the driveway with me a few times this past week & I left him "off leash" A few times he attempted to sneak off but the "bah" worked perfectly. Even when the neighbour pulled into their driveway, he was so tempted to go see them but did not. It was a good exercise & a safe environment to practice it with him. I have the front door almost mastered 100%. He goes right to the bench in front of the window, when I open the door for people & waits for permission to come see them. - Michelle (Micki) L. - February 2009

Hi Tim - We are taking our time with our training of Sara, or should I say Evelyn's and my training. Sara already knows the rules. Sara's barking has already improved by 70%. If someone puts something in the mailbox, she rarely barks, especially if I am in the room. She will look to me for a signal, as to whether she should be concerned. I have bought a 6' leash and am presently letting her get use to the idea that she can no longer race ahead of us. I will start using the new collar next week. Evelyn and I are very confident that we will be able to train Sara with little difficulty because of the skills you have taught us. If Sara begins to get over excited, one simple use of the Bahh word gets her attention immediately. I will give you a further update in a couple of weeks. Thank-you so much for all your help, your methods are not only logical, but simple to use. I will be sure to pass on my praise of Barkbusters to the ladies at the Hwy 24 Vet Clinic. - Hans Hansen - January 2009

Hi Tim - Things are going really well. Still room for some incremental improvement, but I'm amazed at how Bandit's behaviour has been since your visit. We're really making progress.
In my mind, it's especially good, since I've been on the road all week, and Kathy has been able to establish herself as an Alpha with Bandit. Some of the stories she's told me are amazing. Bandit put the chase on a rabbit that unknown to us had snuck into our backyard. When Kathy let Bandit out, she was gone like a shot. One Bah, and Bandit apparently stopped dead in her tracks, let the rabbit go, and she just went pee and came back into the houseGiven how much she likes to chase rabbits, this was totally unexpected.Take care. - Mark T. - January 2009

Hi Tim - Walter and I want you to know how pleased we are with the positive results we have received from your great techniques. Charlie is doing exceptional well, his behaviour has taken a 150 degree positive turn. From your very first visit to our home Charlie was more relaxed and happy. There is absolutely no signs of the aggessive behaviour he exhibited prior to your instructions, and most important we are no longer worried or afraid that he will bite us when we give him his medicine or bathe him. Before your visits to our home we were seriously contemplating whether or not we would have to return him to his prior owner, as we did not want a dog that was aggressive and may bite, You taught us to better understand what Charlie needed from us in order for him to be a happy contented dog.

As for wee Brodie, he still likes to test us from time to time but...he is slowly but most definetly begining to understand who the pack leaders are!

Walter and I have told several of our friends who own dogs how very pleased we are with the positive results from Barkbusters, and we would be more then happy to give our testimonal for your very positive and effective techniques. You can reach us ...if we can be of help
by giving you a testimonial to share with others who may also be looking for positive results
for a family pet with behavioural challenges.

- Sincerely - Georgia & Walter R - December 2008

Hi Tim. Training is going well and Larry is doing his part - I guess you figured out, he was the non-believer... Darby does not make for the door when either one of us comes in now and doesn't jump up when we sit down in the living room. Miller also is much better.
Many thanks. We were so grateful to have you there on Saturday.
- Marilyn W. - December 2008
