Below is the
story of Archie. Archie and Taila came to us from Brazil. At the
end are links to pictures of Archie before and after his veterinary treatment.
Please be advised that some of the before pictures are quite graphic and
may be disturbing to some.
The moment that I saw Archie’s picture I wanted to adopt him, what
I didn’t know was the nightmare my life was going to be because
of it. I planned a vacation to Canada (I’m from Brazil) to visit
my brother. Since I had adopted Archie a month before my trip I decided
to bring him with me. When we arrived at my brother’s house chaos
began (he has two dogs and two birds). Archie was severely abused, and
was found on the street with a huge bruise on his head (we don’t
know what happened but the vet said that he was repeatedly hit in the
head with a bat) and was possessive towards food and his toys. Archie
couldn’t see one of my brother’s dogs, because if he did,
he would launch at the dog to bite him. I couldn’t take it anymore
and that was when I called Barkbusters. It was the best thing I did. The
training is easy to follow; the results are fantastic and fast. On the
second day of the training he was a complete new dog, he started to respect
me and trust me as his leader and the most important thing is that…
I was acting like a real leader. I didn’t have the confidence to
be his leader before and Mary really helped me by teaching me the dog
psychology and all the techniques to be a leader. After she left I was
feeling much happier and I knew things were going to workout (and they
did it). I couldn’t be happier with the results!!!! My dad and sister
arrived from Brazil and they were really surprised by Archie’s behavior.
He is doing great and is really nice towards Potter (the dog he could
not see). Everybody noticed that Archie is nicer and even kinder to us
(he had bitten my sister, brother and myself). Can you imagine that Archie
is almost playing with Potter?!?!? For me that’s a miracle!!!! Mary…
For me you're an angel that came to my life to make things with Archie
easier and for that I’m really grateful!!!! Thanks. - Taila

Even though our Elsie is just a
young puppy, we wanted to start out on the right track with her to ensure
she would turn into a well adjusted, happy dog. Elsie is a 3-1/2 month
old female ShiBi.
We investigated the different avenues there are available for puppy training,
but Bark Busters theory of miscommunication between people and dogs and
the fact that dogs may be confused as to who the pack leader should be
seemed like the right way to go.
Mary Hardie came to our home just 6 days ago and all I can say is Mary,
you were absolutely fabulous.
Her training examples were very informative, easy to follow and she made
it interesting as well. She trained me, my husband, and my three sons
between the ages of 13 and 22.
We were amazed at how Elsie responded to Mary's corrections. She has
never responded as positively to anyone else like she did to Mary. Mary
is very knowledgeable; personable and you can tell that she truly loves
working with dogs. She isa great asset to Bark Busters. I wouldn't hesitate
at all to recommend Mary to others.
We have seen great changes in Elsie already. She has greatly improved
while walking. She now walks by our side without pulling. The correction
methods that Mary taught us are working very well with Elsie's separation
anxiety, as well as her nipping and playing with things that she shouldn't
play with.
Mary and Bark Busters, you are the best. It would be a pleasure to recommend
Mary or Bark Busters to anyone having issues with their dog.
Thanks so much! Elsie now knows her place in our pack of five.

We rescued Mika from a pound two
years ago. She had a sweet personality, was friendly with people and was
instantly loved by our whole family. I work in a nursing home and wanted
a dog I could take to work to visit with the seniors.
From the time she arrived Mika was very excitable, and full of energy.
She would compete with us at the front door to greet visitors. She was
forever running around with someone’s shoe in her mouth. She would
steal cookies from the residents of the nursing home. Many people told
me she would naturally settle down as she got older. After two years we
were still waiting.
Our
biggest issue is that she did not seem to like other dogs. I dreaded our
daily walks during which she would bark and lunge aggressively towards
any dog she saw. I stopped bringing her to work at the nursing home because
she barked relentlessly at any visiting dogs. The barking would scare
others and me. I did not trust her. The final straw for me was a few frightening
walks during which dogs approached us off leash barking. I could hold
my dog back, but no one was controlling the other dogs ... I feared something
terrible would happen.
Her behaviour impacted on so many areas of our life. She was always underfoot
and constantly followed me in the house. We walked her in places and at
times when we were less likely to run into other dogs. Plans for family
vacations became impossible as I was afraid to leave her with anyone,
for fear she got loose and saw another dog ... a kennel was certainly
out of the question.
Searching for answers on the internet I read various strategies for dealing
with her dog aggression. I thought that I understood her problem, but
now realize I diagnosed her according to human psychology ... not as a
canine pack member. Then I came upon Bark Busters website. Mary's lesson
on dog psychology and the Bark Busters techniques were so simple. Once
we all learned our place in the pack, her behaviour change immediately.
In just one evening her behaviour in the house and our yard was under
our control.
On the leash and around other dogs, changes did start from the first night
... and continue to this day. As we worked with Mary to conquer the dog
aggression, she was able to see things that we couldn’t. My anxiety
and fear that she or another dog might bite in a confrontation was making
the problem worse. I now understand that when Mika spots another dog she
needs communication from me on how to respond ... if my message is not
that of a leader who is controlling the situation, her anxiety takes over.
Mika’s rehabilitation is ongoing, but we are able to greet other
dogs on the leash, and have had some neighbourhood dogs into our back
yard. Mary even took Mika home for a trial sleepover with her two dogs.
Last weekend Mika spent a trial night in a “doggie resort”
in cottage country. I was amazed that she ignored the other dogs when
I dropped her off, despite their barking. My next goal is to begin to
bring her to the nursing home. People who know Mika can’t believe
the change... thank you Mary and Bark Busters!

When James and I called bark busters
we weren’t sure what to expect but we were optimistic. My parents
wanted me to call as my father would come over every day to let Mr. Tibbs
and Pierre out. I was informed that my dogs were out of control (which
of course I knew that already). I had tried other training with little
success. When Mary came to our house on May 6th 2010 I couldn’t
believe my eyes. Within 3 hours our boys were listening to us and we had
control of our house. There was no more barking at the front window at
anything that went by. We could now answer our front door without the
dogs mauling everyone. Our dogs would constantly fight in the house this
has stopped as well as Pierre constantly barking at me when I was on the
phone. I thank you Mary for showing us the way to have better dogs. I
now look forward to every minute I spend with Mr. Tibbs and Pierre as
they are well behaved boys. You were right they don’t want to be
the pack leaders and now they are more relaxed and you can see they enjoy
just being dogs and pleasing us. I would definitely recommend Bark Busters
to anyone who owns a dog!

There is just one word to
describe Mary - Amazing.
We recently adopted a dog named Tanner, who was rescued from the USA by
a Canadian organization. After a few days of having him, we noticed that
he had separation anxiety and was terrified of everything. We would crate
him when we went to work and I would come home for lunch to discover that
he had shredded all of his bedding and made a mess in his crate. He would
also try to escape his crate and we feared that he would hurt himself
trying
to get out. When we were home Tanner was the perfect and sweetest dog.
Disaster only occurred when we left the house.
We contacted Mary to come help us work with Tanner as we couldn't bear
to leave him in his anxiety state every time we left the house. In the
3 hours that Mary was with us it was like we had a different dog. Mary
provided us with the skills we needed to reassure Tanner that we are his
leaders and that he is safe. Mary gave us some homework to complete and
I have to say that it is going very well.
In the 1 week since Mary's visit Tanner has made a lot of progress. He
can stay in his crate without shredding anything and he seems to have
a lot more confidence. Thanks to Mary, Tanner is on his way to overcoming
his anxiety and living a happier life .
Mary was simply wonderful. You can tell she loves dogs and that she does
this out of passion, not out of necessity. I really appreciate Bark Busters'
method of customizing the training to the needs of the dog owners, coming
to our house, and even going beyond the basic training. Great service.

 Mary was great, we could
see right away a difference with Odin. And unlike other training programs
this one stuck right away with Odin and us. I've already recommended you.

I am very pleased with the
Barkbuster system. Dakota is doing very well. Mary has been in contact
with us because Dakota has a bowl food aggression issue and Mary is continuing
to monitor Dakota's progress relating to that issue. It was funny I was
going to contact Mary today, but received a follow-up from her which was
great. I would definitely recommend Bark Busters. Thanks. - Heather
and Danny B. - March 2010
We got our dog, Pepper, from
a local breeder when she was 10 weeks old. Wanting to be good “puppy-parents”,
we enrolled her in puppy school and learned all the basics.
About a year later, we welcomed a baby to our family and although Pepper
showed no aggression towards our new addition, she was certainly missing
our attention. She began misbehaving...a lot!
Our previously well-mannered dog began barking at visitors, chewing on
household objects, nipping our toes while we walked, emptying garbage
cans, and stealing our shoes. We saw a pamphlet for BarkBusters at our
vet’s office and thought anything was worth a shot.
What a difference! At Mary’s visit, we discovered
all the things that we were doing to encourage Pepper’s negative
behaviour and we learned how to correct it. After just 3 short hours,
we had what seemed like a new dog, and were armed with new skills to keep
her behaving properly.
Pepper still tests us occasionally, but we now know how to deal with it.
Thanks, Mary and BarkBusters for giving us our sanity back! - Dr.

The Improvement with Riley
in the first 2 weeks has been amazing, it is a work in progress but we
feel like we are accomplishing what we thought before barkbusters was
an unatainable goal. - Scott and Christine M. - March 2010
We had a great experience.
I was particularly impressed by Mary's ability to deal with the sceptic
in my house. She knows her stuff, and can articulate it and demonstrate
it very well. We are very happy with our results and with how quickly
we saw improvement.
- Donna & Robbie A. - February 2010
 Mary was an awesome trainer
she was very knowledgeable and provided us with the tools we need to be
pack leaders. She taught us easy to follow rules & boundaries which
are allowing our family to live a more balanced life. We have seen a HUGE
difference in the way Marley responds to us when using the tools we learned.
It is simply amazing how quickly and easy the transformation has been
and we wished we would have contacted Bark Busters & Mary earlier.
We would/will definitely recommend your services to our family, friends
and strangers.
Thank you. - Shawna and Dave B.-S. - February 2010
I can't believe what a difference
it has made having Mary come in for just a few hours and showing us how
to work with our dog. We adopted a 1 year old dog that had already been
in 6 different homes in her short life and we aren't experienced dog owners.
When Mary left I felt like I had a new dog and that I was in control.
I would highly recommend that every dog owner has at least one session
with Mary. She works wonders." - AC, Brampton, Ontario - January
2010
Early, but I'm confident
in what I've learnt. Very well done.
- Nick, James & Ann L. - December 2009
Hi Mary - Thanks for coming
by last night. It was a pleasure meeting you and witnessing your enthusiasm
and commitment to working with the dogs. We've seen a marked difference
in Wylie's behaviour already. Especially when the kids took him out for
his walk this morning... Thanks again. - Mike D. - November 2009
I am thrilled with Bark Busters!
Just as other before me have said, I noticed a difference in my Murphy
even after our first meeting! ... - Mary G. - November 2009
I could not believe that
in one session the annoying things my dog did in the house were gone,
with the appropriate growls and snaps from me as his "alpha".
That night when my husband came home he was wondering where the fruit
loop was, and if that was still the same dog! Everyone that knew me before
and after Rocky, cannot believe the change in him. And as for recommending
Bark Busters I have done that already.
Thanks so much Mary and Bark Busters for giving us a changed amazing family
dog!
- Daniella S. - October 2009
If all your trainers are
as competent and concerned as Mary, you can be very proud of you company!
Thanks Mary, you are the best! We are very proud of Molly's improvement.
- Buffy & Herb L. - October 2009
I am so glad i called Bark
Busters! Mary has been a great help with our new puppy, Tito. Tito has
been showing escallating signs of food guarding and is quite agressive
for a 4 month old puppy. Mary has been great with providing feedback and
showing us methods to help control the guarding. We are working hard to
do our homework and not let Tito down. - Laura B. - October 2009
Very pleased. Thank you!
- Michelle & Joe M.
Having Mary over to train
Max was the best decision we ever made. Maybe I should refrase that. Having
Mary over to train us was the best decision we ever made. You might think
the training is for the dog but it is definitely more for the owner. In
three short hours Mary had taught us a whold new way to deal with Max.
I could not believe the improvement in just a short time. Thanks Mary
for your awesome training, it was a pleasure having you at our house.
- Michelle & Rui B.
Since our trainer Mary has
been working with us and our dog Hemi, we have seen dramatic improvements
in his behaviour. We are so glad that we contacted Bark Busters and that
Mary was able to give us tools and techniques to make spending time with
Hemi safer and more enjoyable.
- Tracey and Derek F.
Winston is now more manageable
and I understand now how to teach him properlyr. There is significant
improvement already in his behaviour - Monica Z.
Mary was very helpful and
explained Ben's behaviour perfectly: It was a welcome intervention. Our
practise of the recommended training is ongoing, and the results are very
good. Obviously this approach is highly effective and we really appreciate
the help.
- Cathy, Jack and John M.
I couldn't believe how quickly
my dog responded to my new authority. I'm more confident, he's more relaxed
and our relationship has improved enormously. - Catherine G.
 I was very sceptical about
Bark Busters helping me to correct some bad habits that my Black Labrador
"Chloe" had. When I started to take the advice of my trainer
Mary, I was so suprised that my dog responded so quickly. It only took
me a few days to at least be able to walk my dog without her pulling the
sockets out of my arms. I now walk her many times a day and she has responded
to the method that my trainer taught me.
I am so pleased that my dog has learned so many things that were a problem
for my family. She is a wonderful dog now and we are not afraid to take
her anywhere, and people have commented about what a good behaved dog
she is.
Thank you Mary and Bark Barkbusters for helping me with my dog. -

Hi Mary; I waited until now
to write a short note about the turn around in our Maggie. Yesterday we
had a tech over to work on the air conditioner - I knew he would need
entry into the house...
Prior to your visit with Maggie, anyone coming to the door spelled disaster.
We could not keep Maggs from barking like a caged animal or stop her from
continually jumping up, even with friends who come over weekly - I would
sit with the leash attached to Magg's collar so she wouldn't jump up while
our guest was in the house. Yesterday Ted, our furnace / air conditioner
guy came in. (by the way, you trained he & his wife about 2 years
ago) We gave 2 or 3 Bahhhhs' & a couple of snaps - she stayed in the
kitchen while Ted installed a new thermostat in the den. She wanted to
visit with him but each & every time she moved towards him - she obeyed
my command to come without any hesitation. We were astounded!
When we first brought Margaret home around the first of April, she had
many issues - 1st night she bit me severely in the forehead; my fault.
However twice she bit my hands, - probably should have had stitches. She
also bit my wife, very severely - definitely should have had stitches.
She was the boss... The leader of the pack! She refused to come when we
called; repeatedly "toileted" in the house, supposedly being
house trained??? She dug up one our flower beds, not once, not twice,
but 3 times ( about $500 in plants) We certainly couldn't leave her by
herself - she has a passion for Kleenex;
she has wrecked one pair of shoes belonging to each of us. Needless to
say she was a problem child... So much of a problem, that we were
very close to taking her to the pound, knowing what her fate
would be. Instead, my wife found Bark Busters. Neither
of us wanted to give up on her or us. We have had dogs for many,
many years, just not like this one! Since our visit with Mary, its' hard
to put it into words, the change has been dramatic. Not
only Maggie's' behavior but the amount of calmness she now exudes. She
is an absolute delight to be around. We no longer fear her going outside
without a lead, or having guests over. All she wanted was for someone
else to be the pack leader... We thought we were. NOW we are. - Wayne
E.
The turn around in Maggie's
behaviour has been nothing short of remarkable. We we're giving serious
consideration to taking Maggie to the pound... fortunately my wife discovered
Bark Busters.
- Wayne and Sherri E.
 Mary has been fantastic;
Cisco has developed new issues that Mary has been helping us with. But
I believe with Mary's help we will be the leader Cisco needs.
Overall I have been very impressed with the service provided
by Mary. I can't believe how simple it has been to implement the program
and how well it has worked. Everything Mary told us made perfect sense
and I couldn’t believe our dog was dominating us without us even
knowing it…. I never would have figured out that Cisco’s actions
were passively dominating us.
Before working with Mary I could barely walk my dog on
my own and had to stop walking her all together when I was pregnant because
she had pulled me over more than once. Once the baby came there was no
way I could go for a walk and control my dog and keep a hand on the stroller.
My attempts to walk Cisco left me so angry by the time I got home I wanted
to strangle Cisco and would swear to myself I would never walk her again.
Now since working with Mary I can walk my dog with the baby and not fear
Cisco’s behaviour is going to put me or my daughter in a bad position.
Cisco and I I still have some work to do but its getting there and I now
have the confidence that we will get to the point that I have the perfect
dog on a lead, unlike the crazy dog we had before.
Mary has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is
very easy to talk to and completely understood our situation and worked
with us to build a program that fit our family and dog especially having
a baby in the picture. I would absolutely recommend Barkbusters to anyone
who wants to have a well behaved dog that still has its own personality.
That being said I don’t need to recommend Barkbusters
to anyone, my neighbours have seen the results first hand and have actually
made a point to tell me how impressed they were with the difference in
our dog after one session with Mary (who they call the dog whisperer).
That speaks for itself! - Laura G.
I/we my dog and me that is,
had a very difficult time when he was a pup, but we decided to give it
another try. The results were amazing even through out the 3 hour training
session. Max seemed to do everything we tried on the first try and with
very little effort. My family and I have practiced this and we have seen
the same results as we did in the 3 hour training session, as well as
some other results that we did not expect when training him with new things.
We still have a ways to go but the difference in Max is like night and
day... Congratualation Mary on a job well done. My only regret is that
I waited a long time to call you, that is not to say that you did not
try and contact me. Thanks
- Anthony A.
Toby

Not only are we happy with
Mary Hardie of Bark Busters - but so is our dog Toby! Ever since our session
with Mary, he has become noticeably more calm. He no longer shows any
signs of separation anxiety. Thanks Mary! - Patricia P.
Bella
the Belle
 Hi Mary – Thank you
so much for helping us with Bella, our 11 month old Shi-Bi. As you know
we were at the end of our rope and did not know what to do with Bella
anymore. She wasn’t listening, she was having accidents around the
house and chewing on everything. You came in our home and helped us understand
our dog and her needs and she has been a completely different pup ever
since. You helped us transition her to her crate without any stress to
her or us!! It is all about consistency and patience, from this the rewards
are plentiful – happy owners and happy dogs. Thanks again for your
continued advice and support !!! All the best – Keri and Bella
Duke
 Duke and our family just
want to give a big thanks to Bark Busters for all of their help! We just
loved their gentle technique that taught us how to communicate with our
dog. We now know how to talk to him and deal with his “high energy”
and “stressful” personality. He has always been a good boy
but his problems just got increasingly worse to the point where we did
not feel that we could keep him in our home. With all of our newfound
knowledge (care of Bark Busters) we can now give Duke a second chance,
and he is proving to be more than worthy! In just a week his progress
is amazing, we are all very proud of him, and of course ourselves. This
is not a magic transition, there is work and dedication to commit to.
But the “homework” that we were given to mold Duke took just
a few minutes a day and now Duke is aware of his role in our “pack”.
Our thanks to Mary Hardie from Bark Busters, you saved our dog!! -
Shannon K.
 Before Bark Busters I was
having a very difficult time handling my 4 yr old terrier/poodle mix.
It was a struggle for me to walk him as he would always pull me to where
ever he wanted to go. He was aggressive towards other dogs and even people.
He just basically did not listen to anything I asked of him. Then I called
Bark Busters and not only did Gizmo change for the better, I did as well!
I learned how to be the leader of the pack and I now enjoy going for walks
with Gizmo. He also listens to me now and he seems so much happier as
well. I'm glad I called Bark Busters…Mary helped us out a lot!!
- Julie C.
WOW!! I am so happy with
the result and training received from Mary for our Mastiff Puppy Blue,
he was jumping up on us, biting, pulling me when I took him for walks,
I was actually thinking to myself "I dont know if I can handle this",
I was so upset & stressed. But thanks to Mary words cannot express
how thankful I truly am to have her in our home , educating me as to what
I need to do for myself and Blue. Blue is such a wonderful dog our walks
are 100% better everything is finally coming together!! Thanks again Mary
!!! - Tina J.
(Tina's dog "Blue")--->
When we first called Mary
to get information about Bark Busters, She called us back the very next
day with all the answers we needed and was very helpful. She came into
our home 2 weeks later, as we requested, to help us with our 4 mth old
Boxer puppy, Kyra.
Kyra
had separation anxiety, Toilet training issues, biting and never listened
to us. My husband and I were stressed out and up all hours of the night
and needed help!! So when Mary came into our home, She was on time, professional,
very helpful, and showed us everything we needed to learn to help us with
our puppy and our lives.
Within less than 1 week, we saw a completely new puppy, which listened
to us, respected us and was toilet trained to go outside. It was AMAZING
how much of a transition we saw in Kyra and it made our lives so much
better. Kyra is now the lovable, fun puppy we always wanted and we want
to thank Mary so much for her help and training tips and we recommend
Bark Busters to everyone with a dog!!
- Jennifer & Andre D.
Hi Mary - We both wanted to
say thank you very much for your time and all the help. We've noticed
a drastic transformation with Payton's behavior when the doorbell rings
and she didn't even flinch when the dog walker showed up today! - Also,
Diamond's coming along nicely and all the techniques you taught us are
being used to further reinforce acceptable behaviors and elimate the negative
ones. - We're both amazed at how the little bit of time spent could make
such a huge difference. - Thanks again and all the best to you as well.
- Mike and Amy N.
I would like to thank you
once again for the time you spent with my best friend Diego. You came into
my home and gave my family and Diego the proper care that is needed to
enjoy a pet in the home. Mary was called, and she promptly returned my
call.Three days later she was at my door step ready to take on the task
of helping my wife and I with our big chocolate lab Diego. Our main concern
was walking him. My wife was having a difficult time walking Diego. He
would keep pulling her to the point that it was getting to be a safety
concern, not to mention she did not want to walk him anymore. Mary took
the three of us outside and within 15 minutes we had Diego walking next
to us without pulling us down the street. She took the time and instructed
us in the proper technique that was needed to walk him. She worked with
us with other issues and all of them seem to be working with Diego.
In the home she showed love and affection to Diego, and he was very comfortable
with her. He actually laid down next to Mary and was snoring away while
she was explaining to my wife and I some things she wanted us to work
on.We are still working with Diego and it seems to be going well. I just
want to thank Mary once again for her time, it was well worth it.

Remy
 When we first started working
with Mary, we were at our wits end. Our puppy Remi (10 month old Viszla)
was experiencing separation anxiety. He howled when crated, chewed holes
in walls, carpet and furniture when left out of the crate and was becoming
a general nuisance. We contacted Bark Busters in the hope of getting some
answers and learning how to help our dog with his behaviour. With just
a few training sessions, lots of practice and support from Mary, we were
able to turn things around. We are thrilled with the results. Remi loves
his crate, is no longer chewing the house apart and is a very happy good
natured dog these days. It is great to know that Mary is just a phone
call away, and the support that she has provided us has been so helpful.
At one point, she was kind enough to provide our family with a baby monitor
to help with Remi’s training. She is a great dog person and truly
understands what dogs and owners need to do to get on track. We highly
recommend the Bark Buster’s program as it has made a world of difference
to our dog’s well being and overall happiness. Thanks,Mary!
- Aaron
and Kelly M.
I have two Yorkies that were
having problems with toilet training and separation anxiety. I called
Mary and she came over to help. I was amazed at how quickly the dogs responded
to the corrections. Literally in just hours, the dogs were listening to
me and doing what I asked!
Mary is amazing! Not only did she help the dogs, but she helped me. She
encouraged me when I was going to give up. She built up my confidence
to be the leader. Now, I use the same confidence in my home and work life.
Thank you so much for changing me! I knew when I called Mary, that the
problem was not the dogs, but my leadership. I just didn't know what to
do. Mary was patient, clear and concise.
The dogs are happy and behaving very well. No more problems!! My friends
and relatives have noticed the change and have said the dogs appear happier.
I agree!
Thank you so much Mary! You have changed my life and my dogs lives!
- Conny B.
Buddy, my 17 month old Pomeranian,
was showing signs of what I thought was aggression. I own a retail store
and he comes to work with me for 8 to 10 hour shifts, 5 days a week. My
customers love to visit with Buddy and he has many "fans" who
visit on a regular basis to bring him treats and play with him.
Within the last several weeks, Buddy has suddenly bitten customers on
two separate occasions. Obviously I can't have that kind of behaviour.
I relayed all of this to Mary and after assessing Buddy's behaviour and
my interaction with him, she determined that Buddy was not acting out
of aggression, but because he thought that he should be the leader. He's
really a shy dog and was acting out of fear rather than aggression.
Mary worked with us for over three hours. By the time she left, Buddy
was obedient, came to me when I called him and was more submissive and
affectionate as I began to take on the role of "Pack leader".
I now have a much better understanding of dog psychology and the Pack
mentality.
It's been about two weeks now since the training and Buddy continues to
behave calmly and obediently. Buddy continues to test my leadership (as
Mary had warned), but I'm very confident that I can continue successfully
with his re-training.
My sincere thanks to you, Mary! - Brenda B.
As a result of your training
session with my Sheltie Sammy, I changed my life and career and have gone
on to become a Bark Buster trainer myself ! I was amazed at the simplicity
and effectiveness of the system. Your clear instruction and patience with
my anxious, spinning, barking dog was wonderful. Sammy is now a much more
relaxed, confident little fellow thanks to the training. Keep up the good
work and we will continue to spread the word! - Ann K.
Not only was Mary patient
and well-versed in all aspects of training my puppy, she is accessible
for questions after the training and provides prompt responses. I found
her to be very encouraging and helpful and would definitely recommend
her to any other puppy or dog owners.

I just want to say thanks...
you guys helped us to understand the needs of our dog much much better
and from now on I know that if I need any more help you will be right
there for my dog. Thanks again. - Javier G.
My husband and I are both
seniors suffering from arthritis. I am also legally blind and have a chronic
breathing problem. We have a six month old standard poodle named Cassidy.
He has presented us with some distressing behavior. For example he often
pulled my husband off his feet while on the leash. This was quite dangerous
for my husband at the age of seventy. We sought help from Mary. She arrived,
and within hours had shown us how to correct and control our dog. His
improvement was immediate. The method was easy and produced amazing results.
As we continue to enforce the steps Mary showed us over the next six weeks,
we are confident that Cassidy will be the well behaved pet we wanted.
This is great because we love him very much. We are extremely thankful
to Mary and hope to count her among our friends in the future. Thanks
again Mary. It just goes to show that you can still teach old dogs like
us new tricks. - Pauline T.
Mary you were a great trainer!!...
We thank you, for your time & help... - Do R.
The system is well structured,
I really learned a lot of stuff... - Anthony A.
Mary provided the confidence and
leadership skills we needed in order to properly understand and train
our dog. Her service level was outstanding, always available to answer
our questions. I highly recommend Barkbusters to any dog owner who wants
to better understand the psychology of dogs and be a better parent to
their family pet! - Aneela R.
