I called Bark Busters because I was in a sitiuation where I had to move to a house that already had two dogs. My shepoo was not getting along with them and in fact we had a very scary altercation with one of the dogs. I decided that I needed help to correct this situation. I called Bark Busters and Andy came over to my house. Harley started to improve almost immediately with the simple tasks of waiting at the top of the stairs and waiting to go out the front door. The next week Andy came with me over to the house where I will be staying. The dogs were perefectly well behaved .I spent the better part of the day and night over there on saturday and on Andy's suggestion the dogs are on leads when in the house and separated when there is no one around. Just wanted to drop you a quick line to say “Thank You” for yesterday’s training. It was very informative and interesting and to see Duke behave the way he did was truly amazing. Hi Brenda and Andy - I just wanted to thank you guys again for the great lesson last Monday. Titan has been much better about handling distractions (and walking in general) now that we know how to correct him and we are trying to challenge him every day to keep reinforcing what he's learned. Yesterday's challenge was to not chase butterflies (ha ha, what a goof!) or bark at the neighbour. Today the challenge was a pair of ducks on the front lawn but he didn't bark. He saw the neighbour later and did not bark in fact barely looked. I was very pleased with him. I also took him to the barn today to hear the chickens and he was excited but stayed quite under control. Thanks also to your wonderful boy, Hunter! We were impressed that he could keep his cool with 80 pounds of nasty coming at him! This has been an absolutely wonderful (and rewarding) experience for our family, including Ceasar. He is like a different dog since we began training, he is much calmer and much (much, much) better behaved. In fact, he responds to my son (Jesse) & I even better than to Tim at times. We are so impressed with how quickly they get to the heart of the problem and teach us (or remind us) how to correct it. I love how they don't make us feel inadequate or silly for 'bugging' them. There was a recent incident where I felt very afraid that Lola might be too much for us to handle due to her hypervigilance with strangers. My husband and I were skeptics but had to change our minds after Brenda and Andy were at our home for a mere 10 minutes. Balto, a six month old puppy was continually chasing chickens, horses and a pet goat on our farm. He had killed multiple chickens and we were very concerned about keeping him. Hi Brenda and Andy - I just wanted to let you know that I took Kaycee for a walk again tonight. She did amazing! I made sure I had control leaving the house. ... I was first out the door, down the steps etc... There was one distraction (a person came up behind us) but it was not major and quickly corrected her. Other than that she stayed behind my knee, the leash was always slack except the few times I had to "bah" her so I just wanted to say thanks. ...the whole concept of "thinking like a dog" made so much sense because finally someone told us how you actually do it! Oakley and Seger responded beautifully to Brenda and Andy - I was a little (a lot !) concerned about how Seger would respond to the initial exercise of achieving submission, but Brenda and Andy were consistent, confident and aware of my apprehension and managed it wonderfully! Our home is now quiet, relaxed, and actually enjoyable! Oakley and Seger seem to be more comfortable and laid back. The term "bah" has more power than one can imagine. Again I am so thankful that we had an opportunity to have you come to our home and show us the tools we needed to run a better household, and I have recommended Bark Busters to everyone I know that is having the same problems that I had with my dogs. Brenda - This is the first morning walk that I can remember that I was the first through the gate, in the lead on the walk and not being towed .... by all three dogs. BAH even at very low volume it is having a distinct effect on all three. Even Riley is now allowing me to take the lead.

Hello Brenda

We walked this morning with no problem at all. It was still dark out so there were no distractions. We walked again this afternoon after I got home from work and she did very well. There were a lot of distractions then and she did a little bit of jumping and pulling, but she was easily corrected and the walk was quite pleasant. I'm very impressed.

Brenda was able to very quickly help me take control of a situation that we thought was hopeless. We had tried everything….
