Our dog, Lola, was very dominant and had owner aggression. We have a one year old daughter and were very worried about having them in the same room because Lola has “nipped” us in the past.

Derek showed us how to correct Lola’s dominant behaviour and we have seen huge change in the dog. He has also worked with us on walking Lola with the Bark Busters collar and we are planning a recall training session.

Our session was less than 48hrs ago and we have seen what appear to be fairly dramatic changes in our dog's behaviour (and our own). We liked the simplicity of the system, and the fact that we are dealing with the absolute root of what makes our dog tick as oppose to putting 'bandaids' on issue by issue. We see a different look in our dogs eyes, and believe she is feeling more relaxed because she is clearer on her place in the pack. All great stuff!

We found Derek great to work with; clearly passionate about what he does and committed to our results. It was a great experience. Timmy has not nipped us since our first lesson. He is responding well to the 'bah' noise, and coming more when called with the new praise technique. Wow! I was truly amazed at the level of skill and professionalism Derek had, he was also very friendly and encouraging. My dog wouldn't even go in his crate for 5 minutes without having a nervous fit. Derek quickly assessed what the problem was and came up with a stellar game plan. Derek provided a clear understanding of how we were going to proceed prior to any exercises. - I am totally amazed at how fast Taz learned his new role, breaking habits that were 8 yrs old! - I hadn't realized how many of my behaviours were allowing him to assume lead role and that the barking was the stressful place of that role. - My house is now a peacable place with no barking and a dog, that should he stray in his behaviour, I can now manage more effectively.

The day after Derek's training I even got complimented on my extremely well behaved dog at the local park...they were amazed that at his age he had only just been "reformed" the day before LOL!
