I was amazed at the immediate response from my dominant dog in showing submission. She has continued to respect my wish to descend stairs first. Her new leash has improved pulling considerably. We enjoyed a walk of more than an hour the first day of training. I even successfully turned away a charging strange dog in the park by growling sharply, much to the owner's surprise. I have been unsuccessful at reducing her aggressiveness towards a friend's dog who shares my cottage: she bites him....I'll have to work on that somehow.
I have recommended Barkbusters to a neighbour with 2 disobedient dogs.

I am very pleased that we decided to go with Bark Busters. We hardly had a clue of what we were doing and felt like total failures. Connie Clarke rocks. She has answered all our questions and then some. George no longer barks and friends and family still can't get over it. After just a few hours, Duches slept in her own bed for the first time since we got her at 7 weeks. She is now going on 11 months. Before Bark Busters I could not communicate 'no' to one of my dogs in high commotion situations. Now she understands and as a result is less stressed out because she knows if something happens I am her master and will take care of things. It's amazing how well the dogs responded straight away to the training. We were amazed. We thought Jax (who is deaf) would never be able to be walked on a lead, and my dad who is 67 with a bad back was finally able to take Jax for an hour and a half walk, which was never heard of before. We had good results with Tuxedo and have noticed big improvements in his behaviour. The combination of the special "pillows" and the BAH command is amazingly effective. The rule of never allowing your dog to lead you through any entrance is golden. Within the first few minutes of our lesson, Connie noticed that the check chain Tuxedo had was not the correct length to be effective. Using the proper length check chain and shorter lead has made a big improvement in his lessons. Connie has told us that we can call her any time and that is great. - Betty Anne M. May 2005
