Meet the Bark Busters Canada Head Office Management & Staff

Bark Busters Canada has head offices located in Squamish British Columbia.

Our Head Office Staff includes:

  •  Barb Cooke - V/P Operations and Training
  •  Bob Mikels - Manager Office Systems & Technology

Barb and Jeff Cooke are the co-founders and Master Franchisors of Bark Busters Canada. They are also Master Trainers within Bark Busters International and operated a successful Bark Busters Franchise for 7 years in Australia where Bark Busters was originally founded in 1989 before accepting the opportunity to found the Canadian arm of the company.

Jeff was born and raised in Canada and Barb is originally from Michigan. It goes without saying that both are dog lovers and have dedicated their lives to bettering the conditions of dogs and their owners across the country.

 

 


Bob Mikels came to Bark Busters Canada from the corporate world as a former Information Technology Manager and software developer with an early background in accounting. Bob was instrumental in the development and implementation of various office systems that allow our franchisees to spend more time helping dogs and their owners and less dealing with paperwork. He also acted in the role of Office Manager until the office relocated to Squamish B.C. from Oshawa Ontario in mid 2007.

Bob also maintains the Bark Busters website and for 3 years acted as the in-house accountant.
